Subjunctive KoL: FrondItems

To get palm frond items, adventure in the Oasis to get Hugo's Weaving Manual. Read it, then continue adventuring in the Oasis to get some palm fronds. Once you've gotten a bunch of them, you can weave them together (either by using the Manual or by using "use multiple" on the fronds) to obtain various items.

• 2 fronds = palm-frond fan
• 3 fronds = palm-frond net (combat item; weakens and stuns enemy)
• 4 fronds = palm-frond whip (whip; 25 power, +30 melee damage)
• 5 fronds = palm-frond capris (pants; 140 power, requires 55 moxie; +4 moxie, +30 maximum HP/MP)
• 6 fronds = extra-large palm-frond toupee (hat; 150 power, requires 60 moxie; +2 stats per fight)
• 7 fronds (only with Torso Awaregness) = palm-frond cloak (shirt; 140 power, requires 55 muscle; so-so resistance to all elements)

There do not appear to be any items makeable with 8 or more fronds.
