KoL CLI

PLEASE NOTE: This version of KoL CLI is out-of-date. I have not updated this since January 2005, so it is unlikely to work well. If you want the most recent version, KoL CLI is now being maintained by txranger and the Iron Chefs. You can get it here.

KoL CLI is a command-line interface for KoL. It is like KoLmelion, in that it provides a nice way to automate the repetitive boring tasks in the Kingdom. KoL CLI allows you to adventure, eat, drink, go to the shore, and do most other tasks you would want to do in an ordinary day. It even has built-in features to get buffs from the buffbots run by Pachelbel. It supports macros and is easily scripted.

KoL CLI requires only Perl and curl, which are installed by default in Mac OS X and modern Linux installations, so no complicated setup is required (unless you want to run on Windows, where it is possible to install Perl and curl. See the manual for further details). Just download the file, type "tar -vxzf kolcli-098e.tar.gz", and a kolcli/ directory will be created containing the program and a detailed manual. To run the program, just change to the kolcli directory, type "./kolcli.pl" and you're away!
