As you advance further into the Naughty Sorceress' chamber, she will send giant familiars at you, which will do battle with your familiars. You will face two familiars randomly chosen from the chart below. In order to defeat them, you must have the right familiar of your own. Not only that, but that familiar must be at least 20 pounds (counting all familiar-enhancing effects, so you can use accessories, empathy, etc.) Below is a chart of who wins:
