I just discovered the Wikipedia entry List of problems solved by MacGyver. :)

Haha, awesome. It's interesting to see that the number of tricks he used went way down during the last two seasons. I remember during those seasons thinking that he's become just a regular action hero, except more lame, because he's not known for his physical prowess. I thought the commentary near the top is pretty funny about how the article needs to provide a "non-fictional perspective". Perhaps they can do an analysis about how realistic each of the problems and the solutions are in real life. I can just imagine several episodes of Mythbusters dedicated soley to verifying MacGyver problems and solutions.
