Officially employed!

You know, I knew already, but I somehow just didn't manage to breath a sigh of relief until I got my offer letter via FedEx just now. *whew!* In a couple of weeks, I'll be working at Motorola in a cell phone software group. Well, I guess it's not completely official yet, since they still have to make sure I haven't committed any felonies, and I have to go take a drug test, too. :) I was thinking: You know, there's no way Apple would ever require a drug test for employment. ;)

I think anyone who's job-hunting needs to remember Paul's Law (i.e. what Paul told me last summer, when I was looking for a job in England): "No matter how many times you get turned down, you only need to get lucky once, and you're all set."
